I must admit, when I was asked to supply some last-minute getting-into-shape help for when we go on holiday, I inhaled deeply and rolled my eyes. Look, we know that keeping strong and fit is vital for a happy midlife (as well as a tolerable menopause). We also know it’s an ongoing task, not a box to be ticked and done with. But time has run away with you, and we know those yoga/HIIT/marathon/kale-eating pledges never quite made it, so in the spirit of doing as I’m told, here’s a plan for a 10-day pre-holiday shift-to-shape-up.
