£5,000 grants available to digitise archives
Company TownsWeb Archiving is inviting applications for grants to fund the digitisation of archives. Following its successful 2016 scheme, the company is offering grants of up to £5,000, an increase from last year’s £4,000 offering. Public, private, business and charity archives based in the UK can apply for the funding, which covers the costs of digitising documents, including books, manuscripts, oversize maps and plans and microfilm, and making collections available online.
