THE REVELATION I knew very little about Cunningham as a person when I decided to make this film. In this wide selection of paper and painted panels, we meet our Italian painter, Elena Carozzi. Her art did not just come from her inspiration, but she also lived it through her grandfather Gian Carozzi, one of the founders of the Movemento Spaziale. She also collaborated with the architect Roberto Pergalli on interior designs, until 1996 when she moved to Sarzana in Liguria where her grandfather owns a studio, and was able to begin soaking up all the references from the art world.
