Prescott, Arizona’s Phippen Museum is named after local artist and first president of the Cowboy Artists of America, PGeorge Phippen. It presents museum-quality Western fine art exhibitions, educational opportunities and special art events for visitors of all ages. The 17,000-square-foot facility currently houses four galleries, two studio replicas, a research library, a multipurpose classroom, a well-stocked Museum Store and a Western heritage gallery featuring artifacts, photos, memorabilia, a working chuck wagon and the Arizona Rancher & Cowboy Hall of Fame. The museum is also proud to be the home of the Prescott Area Art Trust’s Solon H. Borglum Collection, a special display featuring bronze sculptures, paintings, furniture and other extraordinary objects from the artist’s life.
