The inaugural Vogue Australia G’day USA women’s brunch, hosted by Vogue editor-in-chief Edwina McCann and foreign minister Julie Bishop, celebrated successful Australian women based in LA working in various fields, including fashion, ballet, business, travel and even space. It was held on the morning of the black-tie G’Day USA Gala, now in its 15th year, an on-going initiative that has support from Austrade, DFAT,
Tourism Australia and Qantas.
This year’s gala honoured prominent Australians Margot Robbie, Bruna
Papandrea and the late Heath Ledger and John Farrar.
Other guests included Isla Fisher, Rose Byrne, Olivia Newton-John, John Travolta, Amy Adams, Ruby Rose, Jacki Weaver, Luke Hemsworth, Buzz Aldrin and Rebel Wilson – who rapped on stage with Hugh Sheridan. Colin Farrell presented Heath Ledger’s posthumous award to his family. Leading jeweller…
