Looking for more adventures in CBS’s FBI franchise? Tom Ellis is on the case! The actor, best known for playing a handsome devil in the fantasy series Lucifer (2016–21), will be one of the two leads in the network’s new drama, which is slated to debut this fall. Currently titled CIA, the show follows two partners—a CIA officer who often goes rogue (Ellis, in a part similar to his crime-solving role on Lucifer) and a by-the-book FBI agent (who at press time had not yet been cast). Cheers to You’s Bronte (Madeline Brewer, left) for being the one to leave Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) exposed, incarcerated and emasculated after four seasons of his fatally toxic masculinity on Netflix’s drama. Cheers to Mid-Century Modern for it’s old-school appeal in a fresh comedy package. A mashup of classics like Three’s Company, The Golden Girls and Designing Women, Hulu’s hoot about gay besties (Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer and Nathan Lee Graham) sharing a Palm Springs pad is our new retro-fab fave. Cheers to Will Trent for using the past to elevate the ABC show’s present by pitting savvy Special Agent Will Trent (Ramón Rodríguez) against old pal turned felon Rafael (a terrific Antwayn Hopper).
