If NBC had told the producers of the Quantum Leap reboot about its cancellation earlier, they might not have left us hanging as they did with the previous series in 1993. Do you think it’s possible that NBC might consider doing what they did for another canceled time-travel show, Timeless, and put together a special finale for the reboot that wraps everything up? Maybe even bringing Scott Bakula back to close out Sam Beckett’s fate as well? —Rob R. MATT ROUSH: Wouldn’t that be great? That would certainly take the sting out of the cancellation, and Leap is NBCUniversal’s intellectual property to do with as it pleases. But for now, this is just wishful thinking. When might we hear if The CW’s Wild Cards has been renewed? I love this show.…
