TV GUIDE MAGAZINE and Kelsey Grammer go way back. If you were watching Cheers and Frasier Crane looked a bit familiar but you just couldn’t place him, Grammer might have once been your TV GUIDE delivery boy. He had a route in New Jersey when he was 10 that earned him, in his words, “substantial money for a kid.” Since then, we’ve had Grammer on our cover 13 times for Cheers, Frasier, Back to You and Hank. My current favorite show is GLOW. It is my mission to support shows with a female lead, and this one has about a dozen. The funniest person on TV is Samantha Bee. I cannot get enough of her lightning-fast wit and delivery. The show I miss most Lost. Yes, my husband (Michael Emerson, left) was on it, but I was a fan way before he even bothered to watch it! The show I’d like to guest star on Homeland (above), The Americans or Westworld. I love how stylish and intense they are. What I hate-watch The last season of The Walking Dead. Charmed and Felicity (1998) Cho started his acting career the usual way: as a bit player. But the results were unusual. “I was doing walk-ons,” he says,“trying to be funny, then leaving.” Cho popped up on The WB’s witch hit Charmed as a ghost with the hots for Holly Marie Combs’s Piper. Geoffrey Rush was brilliant, but how can he be nominated for a “leading” role when he was in so little of it? THERE’S A CRIME wave sweeping the country—and it’s happening on TV. Three cable networks are betting that airing true-crime shows 24/7 will feed an audience addicted to who- and why-dunnits. In 2008, Investigation Discovery became the first cable channel to focus its programming entirely on real crimes. ID is now the No. 5 cable channel with women age 25–54, but it is no longer alone as a showcase for murder most foul.
