Travel+Leisure India & South Asia, in association with Ministry of Tourism, Israel, hosted a select gathering of high-fliers and culinary enthusiasts at the exclusive T+L Masterclass, Flavours of Israel, at Neuma, Mumbai on March 9. The evening—spearheaded by Sammy Yahia, director of Israel Tourism (India and Philippines) and a former restaurateur—started with an interactive live cooking demonstration to acquaint guests with the flavours of Israel through skillful knifework, aromatic spices, and engaging conversations. He demonstrated simple yet delicious recipes like spinach salad, shakshouka, toma tahina, traditional hummus, and musakhan.
