Travel + Leisure India & South Asia, in association with The Leela Palace Chennai, hosted a select gathering for a Mixology Masterclass at the hotel’s beautiful lounge bar, Library Blu, on November 7, 2019.
On the buzzing evening, a group of expert mixologists from the hotel whipped up some delicious cocktails, with entertaining tricks to boot. In the process, the crowd learned to make quite a few cocktails. Think Goose Bumps (infused whiskey, gooseberry juice, cinnamon syrup, Angostura bitters), Swagath (vodka, sambuca, betel leaves, gulkand, cardamom), Pazhamudhir Cholai (infused vodka, peach schnapps, lychee juice), Double Dose (whiskey, dark rum, saffron and dates syrup, lime juice, egg white), and Tavar Saaru (infused gin, white wine, cinnamon syrup).
