Lorie Patterson, 57, shot to the top of the Cinch ladies leaderboard when she won four checks paying out $26,705 at the Aug. 5–9, 2020, All Star Team Roping Finals in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Patterson, a school teacher for more than 30 years who’s currently teaching high school English and History, earned the majority of her loot by earning two checks in the #9.5 Shootout, including for the win with header Tom Stevens. The pair roped four head in 36.17 seconds, garnering them a team total of $33,960.
