On September 15, the Dutch coastline became the stage for one of kiting’s most extreme events. Red Bull Megaloop returned in breathtaking fashion, after a one-year hiatus, as 22 of the world’s best Big Air riders faced the fury of Storm Amy in Noordwijk, battling 55 knots of wind and three-meter waves.
For the first time in the event’s history, a women’s division was introduced. Six female riders faced the storm head-on and, with extreme jumps and plenty of style, proved that the future of the event and Big Air is just as much determined by women.
