What is the current scenario in the kitchen industry? Market is becoming more organised and consumers are opting for finished goods rather than locally assembled parts. How was your first experience with design? Design is in my DNA. I grew up near Lake Como and come from a family who work in the business. I was very lucky as design has been part of my whole life since when I was a child. EMEK He is a renowned name in art industry, popularly known for gig and movie posters. These posters have been a seed of his career and since then his visual sense has intensified multi-folds. In Emek’s posters, psychedelic 60’s imagery collides with 90’s post-industrial iconography. To this collision of the organic vs the mechanical worlds, he adds humour, social commentary and fantasy.
