Congratulations to Robin Downie, the first person to complete the inaugural Martin Moran Round. The Lochcarron athlete climbed almost 30,000 feet in less than a day, covering a distance of 86km over some of the most rugged and remote mountains in Scotland. To put the feat into perspective, it’s the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest and running two marathons. In doing so, Robin fundraised for the Martin Moran Foundation, established to honour the life and legacy of celebrated mountain guide and explorer Martin Moran.
