Heritage Collections
If you’re stuck for planting ideas this spring, the National Trust and Blue Diamond Garden Centres could have just what you need. Now you can buy herbaceous border collections based on planting schemes at Bodnant, Lanhydrock, Calke Abbey, Nymans, Hidcote and Sissinghurst (below). Each collection comprises a selection of plants of differing heights, textures and colours. They are part of a larger partnership offering, that includes hedgerow, bulb and rose collections, a range of over 60 seeds in pretty packets illustrated by Madeleine Smith, as well as the chance to bid on saplings taken from Isaac Newton’s apple tree and the Ankerwycke Yew. bluediamond.gg
