The lush green mountains, verdant valleys and charming vistas of Vermont have lured artists of every ilk for decades. Creativity blooms in new studios in Burlington, the state’s largest city, but also in converted barns in rural Fairfield. The persistent complaint expressed by artists who live in the state, however, is the lack of places to show and sell their work.
