The traditional bi-coloured designs of Morocco’s Beni Ouarain tribe are the inspiration behind Berber, the latest addition to the Structures Collection of textured Ecorugs by Louis De Poortere. Translating the ancient tribal patterns with a vibrant, contemporary palette, Berber reinterprets the hand-woven originals for today’s home. The bold, high-contrast colour combinations, textures changes and simplistic patterning breathe new life into the rich heritage of the design.
