Bolide is Victory Design’s project to designate a range of hypecar inspired boats. innovative boats, combining design and technology for top level performances. Materials are also chosen from classical as well as futurist ones. Bolide 80, currently under construction, is entirely made of carbon fiber, with Microtex custom backing and Diab structural core. Sanlorenzo launched their new 57Steel first unit in November. The yacht took to water in the yard’s plant in La Spezia, and will be delivered to her owner early 2023. 56.60 metres long, the yacht is built on five decks for a 1050gt tonnage. After acquiring Perini Navi, Italian Sea Group have made a deal with Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design Studio for a new range of sail yachts. The first result of the deal is a 56metre ketch, to be followed by a 47 to 74 metre fleet: modern yachts, that will reinterpret some of the traditional Perini stylistic features as well as the Group’s environmentally friendly philosophy. Sunseeker have been particularly keen on renovating the upper level of their range, a market segment the English yard is heavily betting on, as shown during the latest Munich Yacht show. The new Ocean Line models were unveiled during the exhibit. Ocean 460 stands out the largest among them. After announcing their partnership, Pininfarina Nautical and Fulvio de Simoni Yacht Design took part in the latest Munich Yacht Show and unveiled their innovative X2 project. The new concept follows the catamaran they unveiled a few months ago, and enhances the idea of the person as the center of an explorer yacht. A weird fish lives under 200-metre depths, Tetrosomus, or pyramid fish. Its body is coated with a bone carapace, made out of hexagonal sealed slabs. Green Yachts and Ital-style Yacht Design’s 45-metre explorer yacht was designed after this fish. Benetti’s Metis confirms the yard’s excellency of Made in Italy in the world. At 1245gt, she is 63 metres long and 10.60 wide, and has a 3.10-metre draught.
