The fifth edition of the BR1 Fleet Show hit the archives’ shelves. Sunseeker presented its latest entry, the 133 of the superyacht range at the latest Cannes Yachting Festival. This renowned British shipyard presented an innovative design featuring a vertical bow as well as a 31’ beam which translates into a notable increase in terms of interior volumes. ISA Yachts has recently announced the sale of the new steel and aluminium 45 GT model from the Gran Turismo line. With an overall length of 45 metres this yacht represents an evolution from the preceding collection of models made famous by the 66 metre “Okto” and by the 43 metre “Philmi”. The Gruppo Palumbo shipyard asked exterior designer Enrico Gobbi to draw up the exterior lines while Luca Dini designer was designated to carry out the interiors and layout. The CRN 138 is currently in construction at the Ancona shipyard. It is a 62 metre one off drawn up by Gruppo Ferretti in collaboration with Omega Architects and Pulina Exclusive Interiors. Lürssen shipyard in Germany has enjoyed a good year highlighted by the launching of three very large superyachts which took place in the course of 2019. The smallest of the three is 95 metre Madsummer initialled by Harrison Eidsgaard and by Laura Sessa; the largest is Flying Fox which measures all of 136 metres by both Espen Øino and Mark Berryman. This yacht will be substituting the historic SD92, which was unveiled in 2007 of which 27 have been sold. B.Yond is a new generation of Expedition Yachts initialled by Benetti a renowned Italian shipyard. The name suggests these Expedition yachts have the capacity to cruise beyond any boundary. Project B.Yond aims to offer an unprecedented level of technology and degree of rationalisation of onboard volumes thanks to the strict separation of the functions of each of the four decks.
