Ocean King’s new styling policy has recently been presented in the new version of its Classic 88, which has appropriately been renamed New Classic 88 and is perpetrated with the arrival of the New Classic 108 model as well. This is the result obtained through the Chioggia established shipyard with VYD design studio situated in Trieste city. Baglietto’s project of the 43 metre Explorer in collaboration with Milan based Studio Santa Maria Magnolfi presented last September has now reached its second generation. This design is versatile, this means this renowned Italian shipyard can address and handle diverse needs without disrupting the projects basic lines. And if in the first version, the yacht was equipped with a touch’n go helipad which is absolutely in line with what is expected of a superyacht conceived to explore the globe, the designing team for this second version wanted to privilege sport fishermen by creating a large enough space to stow a 28’sport-fisherman. Paolo Giordano and Francesco Castello are two talented, promising Italian yacht designers. In spite of the fact that one comes from Genoa and the other from Viareggio, they often find themselves head down working together on the same innovative and usually futuristic projects. Following a series of events in 2006 Ugo Pellegrino, third generation of important entrepreneurs involved in the petrochemical and plastic industry decided to lay down preliminaries with a view to found Arcadia Yachts and to invest in the yachting sector and to produce moulds and GRP hulls. The idea takes on a diverse course after a meeting with a designer that presents him with a set of sketches of a project which the market hadn’t ever seen before which duly became the A85. Vita X is the latest entirely electrically propelled power boat by Vita Yachts shipyard, the first yard to have been awarded with Clearwater Gold Standard in 2018. The Design Edition features elegant classic lines enriched with teak and light aluminium finishes designed by Borromeode Silva and produced by Neal Feay. Vita X is ten metres long, the power house installed on board is made up of a pair of hydro-jets moved by electric motors with an output equivalent to 200 HP which translates into a top speed of 40 knots. On Saturday June 1st, Cantieri Navali Codecasa launched Construction F74, a Codecasa steel and lightweight aluminium alloy superyacht before a restricted private audience.This robust yacht was built to Lloyd’s Register norms with a view to obtain the highest degree of compliance with the LY3 Commercial Yacht Code from the MCA, which is a letter of Compliance as Unrestricted Yacht after having obtained the highest RINA class. Cantiere delle Marche has recently begun to build Deep Blue a 43 metre explorer model for an expe-rienced yachtsman who previously owned Feadship, Lürssen e Blohm & Voss yachts and has recently opted for another CdM after having purchased and cruised in a Darwin Class 102. An idea is not born by chance, and while being unique it is the fruit of detailed analysis combined with experience in the sector it refers to: not specifically the superyacht world but the shipbuilding yards which use lightweight aluminium alloy to build with. A fine shipwright, who started to learn the trade in the yards along the Ligurian coast in his teens. Along Pesaro city’s canal port, where the Cantiere Navale di Pesaro used to be, there’s a new activity has currently been almost finalised and equipped to refit large luxury yachts. Crossbow is the name Hydro Tec studio gave to the project design for this 100 metre long superyacht with a beam of 12. Isa Yachts shipyard, which is part of Gruppo Palumbo liked the name and did not change it. Crossbow is built to be efficient and performing which explains why the construction material is all in aluminium alloy since it weighs less than other materials deployed by shipyards. Mondomarine has presented two new lines in the superyacht segment, which will flank projects “Eidos” and “Sea Falcon” following Palumbo Superyachts’ guide lines that acquired Mondmarine in November 2018. The first of the two new lines is named Classic e, it is currently made up of three models a 43 metre, a 50 metre, and a 63 metre with the collaboration of Luca Dini’s Design Studio. They’re semi-displacing yachts with a relatively shallow draught so they can cruise in shallower waters as well. In the course of the latest Triennale di Milano Sanlorenzo Yacht presented two projects of the SD96 and of theSL96 Asymmetric on May 29th before an enthusiastic audience made up of dozens of journalists and guests. Zuccon International Project studio provided precious input and design work for both supeyachts. Zuccon International Project and Francesco Paskowski Design studios have revolutionised the designs of Gruppo Ferretti’s Navetta and Planante lines completely. The latest model to hit the water was the Custom Line Navetta 42, a four decker with a semi-displacing hull of over 300 GT. Two years worth of project design work were injected into this project which in addition to Zuccon studio’s collaboration, involved Piero Ferrari at the head of the Comitato Strategico di Prodotto and Gruppo Ferretti’s Engineering Department in the project. Today this Italian shipyard is renowned for building two lines of superyachts: traditional displacing navette built in steel and aluminium alloy and very performing planing motor yachts in lightweight aluminium alloy with hydro-jet drives. However not everyone knows that in nearly 200 hundred years this shipyard has always remained with the founder’s family: Codecasa. They have built practically every sort of boat, starting with sailing work boats in wood. Ocean Alexander 90R will be debuting in Europe at the next Cannes Yachting Festival which will be held from September 10th to 15th .This is the fifth unit and with it the new range of the Revolution Series by this American shipyard. The OAR90R is what we could define as being a multiethnic project insofar as in addition to the American yard, a Taiwanese gentleman founded it, then British born designer Evan K.
