The letter “E” stands for Electric which means that the new hybrid system involves the use of a main diesel engine and an electric one which confirms the yard’s view point on the use of low impact sustainable energy. Nemo 50 Ice is the new project derived from joint team work put in with the French Ocea yard, the person in charge of the Mediterranean Office Aldo Manna and designer Fulvio de Simoni. The yacht has been conceived to cruise Antarctica. In 2016 Alberto Galassi CEO at Gruppo Ferretti presented an investment plan of 25 million Euro over three years so as to renew the Ancona shipyard completely. Thanks to the approval of the plan Ferretti Group increased the surface area of the production sector near CRN’s premises and opened new plants for the Custom Line, which moved all production from Cattolica, and the two Riva and Pershing brands as well which have recently stepped into the superyacht market, thereby creating a new production plant which is the Superyacht Yard. The BR1 Fleet Show dedicated to brokers was held between April 10 to 21 at the Villa Igea Marina in Palermo Sicily. Dutch yard from Holland: Royal Huisman has recently announced the sale of Project Phi an over 55 metre motor yacht. Three notable teams were involved in the project design work namely: Cor D. Rover, Lawson Robb and Van 0ossanen Naval Architects. With the XP collection this Turkish yard has gotten off to a great start. The larger of the two a 32 metre and the 26 metre are currently enjoying a notable success in terms of numbers with several sold and almost ready for delivery. The new Arcadia Yachts 105 will be making its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2018. The first project presented one year ago was so successful to the extent the shipyard is already building the third hull.
