There was a recipe the Steelers were going to have to follow in order to leave Philadelphia with a victory, and one of the required ingredients was going to be a significant contribution from their outside linebackers. T.J. Watt certainly did his part.
In a game that ended in a 27-13 loss that dopped the Steelers to 10-4, the outside linebackers combined for 17 tackles, including 3 tackles for loss, plus 3 sacks, 4 hits on the quarterback, and 1 forced fumble. Watt personally contributed 7 of the tackles, including 1 for loss, 2 of the sacks, and the forced fumble on the Eagles’ first offensive possession that Beanie Bishop recovered. Watt is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.
