MAKE YOUR OWN glowing fireflies. Then go on a firefly hunt! What You’ll Need: 6 or more plastic eggs6 or more flameless LED tea lightspipe cleanerspushpin or thumbtackfine-point black markersilver duct tapescissorslarge clear jars What to Do: 1. Pull the egg apart. (The small top of the egg is the firefly’s head, and the bottom is its body.) 2. Have an adult poke two holes through the top of the egg with a pushpin or thumbtack. Then insert pipe cleaner “antennae.” 3. Use the marker to draw two eyes and a smile on the firefly’s face. Cut two oval “wings” out of silver duct tape, and stick them to the back of the body. 4.
