The runway as a place for telling stories, where lives exist in unison with fabrics, lace and brocade. Erdem drew inspiration from the life, years, elegance and style of Orietta Doria Pamphilj princess. The rooms of her home, the wallpaper, paintings and furniture. The resulting collection included luxurious brocades, saturated colours and enchanting florals. The show was a magnificent experience: airy, voluminous, bubble dresses, midi or fulllength, with trains, velvet bows, embroidery, ostrich feathers, chiffon layers, breezy ribbons and sumptuous collars. The clothes had an aristocratic allure, evoking memories suspended in time, crystallised and made eternal in precious jewelled compositions and appliqués.
