EAST MEETS WEST Born to a Filipina mother and a Canadian father, Sean is a unique fusion of Asian traditional values and Western cando pragmatism. As far as he can remember, Sean has always been athletic as a youngster growing up in Vancouver. Filled with boundless energy and youthful exuberance, he was into rugby, basketball, and track and field, and while his whole family loves sports, he is the only one who became a professional athlete.
