LIVING THE DREAM
Since the age of 16, more than 50 years ago, I have always looked forward to my weekly copy of Shooting Times. People, mostly non-shooting folk, often ask, “What do you find to read that’s different every week?”
My reply is “Plenty!” and the superb article by Megan Rowland is proof (Let the devil take the hind most, 28 October).
I have stalked for many years, mostly in my native Devon, and in more recent years over here in Ireland where I now live. I have been fortunate and stalked red, fallow, roe and, in Buckinghamshire, muntjac and Chinese water deer.
