Hunt sabs accused of making bomb threats
Hunt saboteurs have resorted to calling in bomb hoaxes in order to disrupt hunt meets, it has been claimed.
The Countryside Alliance says animal welfare extremists are changing tactics, including making fake bulk hotel and restaurant reservations and leaving bad reviews online, to cause problems for businesses serving people and communities involved in hunting.
In the most serious reported incident, 300 people at the annual Holcombe Hunt’s ball at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel, near Blackburn, had to be evacuated last month, after someone called in a bomb threat.
Woodcock Club continues to grow
