IN FOR A TREAT Christmas pillow box BY KAREN SHADY, VIC Materials: Acetate pillow box, chocolates; Paper – Graphic 45; Embellishments – Graphic 45 chipboard and banners, doily, ribbon. METHOD: 1. Glue a small doily to the front of the box, then wrap a piece of ribbon around it, and secure with glue at the front (this will be covered so you won’t see the glue). Glue a chipboard die-cut to the centre of the doily and attach a bow to the bottom. 2. Fussy-cut images and elements from patterned papers. If you want to add dimension, fussy-cut the same image out twice and adhere the two pieces together. Arrange the fussy-cut pieces on the pillow-box to your liking and adhere them. 3. Firstly, think of your chipboard sheet as having two parts – a positive and a negative. The positive is the pre-cut shapes, the negative is everything else.
