Back in the 1940s, Thales Edward Haskell, a mortician living in Lovell, Wyoming, started selling furniture out of his car. His enterprise grew, and he eventually opened a brick-and-mortar show-room. Over the years, his business, and his family, expanded. Haskell Furniture & Flooring now has stores in the Big Horn Basin communities of Cody, Worland, and Lovell, along with a sister business, Cody-based Mountain Home Interiors.
Haskell Furniture & Flooring remains in the family, with Zac Haskell, Thales’ great-grandson, now at the helm. The company's success is the result of hard work, excellent customer service, and strong community relationships. As Zac Haskell says: “I'm a local.
