Her travels have taken her to many of the United States’ National Parks, National Monuments, and State Parks, where she’s been an artist in residence in immersive experiences that give her a unique perspective on the nation’s wild places.
As a recently retired social worker and counselor, she is fascinated with human history, emotion, and the social work concept of ‘systems theory,’ which explores the synergistic relationship between human beings and nature.
She is passionate about being in the outdoors—camping, hiking, and experiencing solitude in the wilderness—and credits it with her creative productivity and inspiration.
