“Layered Voices” is a collection of quilts that reflect a shared sense of humanity at this moment in time. As artists, we pay attention to our surroundings, identify patterns, and make connections that evolve into visual narratives of experience. In this sense, art is a mirror. Transformative processes brought about by natural forces, politics, social interactions, emotional states, and spiritual convictions were recurring themes in many artist statements.
