Earth Day on April 22 is a call for action, to protect mother earth, and for a more appropriate and equitable use of our natural resources.
A fundamental component of resolving climate change and other environmental challenges, in the Baháí view, will be the cultivation of values, attitudes, and skills that give rise to a just, equitable and sustainable patterns of human interaction with the environment.
Environmental challenges, such as deforestation, soil erosion, plastic pollution, water shortages and climate change, are serious global problems.
These and other challenges humanity is facing show how individuals, communities, and governments need to come together to address our common concerns. Such crises call for a united action based on both scientific evidence and ethical considerations.
