Provence is a big area, from the Italian border through the Alpes-Maritime to Haut-Provence, the Vaucluse, Gorges du Verdon, Dentelles, Bouches-du-Rhône, Camargue and the Rhône Valley. For photographers it’s got it all; quaint villages perched on hillsides, Papal palaces, Roman amphitheatres, markets, sunflowers, lavender and vineyards.
