The early bird catches the worm and there’s some fabulous lighting to be had at the crack of dawn. The gentle golden hour lighting at sunrise, combined with damp, misty mornings, works incredibly well for deer photography, and during autumn, the sunrise is at a more respectable hour than in the summer. It’s also rutting season, so you may even be able to photograph the action of battling stags fighting for dominance.
