Exposure advice
For shots of starry skies and the Northern Lights, when you’re far from light pollution, light levels are very low – so you need to use a killer combination of a wide aperture, high ISO setting and long exposure to get as much light into the sensor as possible. With a wide lens, set an aperture between f/2.8 and f/5.6, ISO between 1600 and 3200, and a shutter speed between 15 and 30 seconds.
