Photographic Speciality/Style: Digital Art Short Bio: Originally from Belgium and currently living in Bedfordshire, I’m a photographer and digital artist. I brought my first camera and started taking photographs of anything and everything and although I enjoyed it, I wanted to stand out from the other photographers but at this stage I had no idea what road I wanted to take. I had never really been a fan of landscape photography, so I set out to take photos of people. When I was younger, I would often visit my grandparents for a few days at a time. One of the best parts about those trips was when I would “go to work” with my grandpa. I put “work” in quotes because he was definitely retired at that point in his life, but he’d still get up every morning and go to a warehouse that he owned. It was actually more of a large garage, since he mainly stored cars for his friends and he even kept some cars of his own there. The Forest” takes us on a journey through the deep forests and aims to shine light on a landscape in Norway one usually does not see in the tourist magazines. This is portrayed through the magical night, mystical morning and adventurous day. Set to the words of Theodor Kittelsen the film gives associations with the traditional, Norwegian fairytales in a modern visual and auditive setting. The soundtrack (named “Urskog”) is custom composed for this film by Jogeir Daae Mæland.. Vocals on the track are done by Katrine Ødegaard Stenbekk. Mixed and mastered by Tony Draper.
