This allows you to create a wide photo that is also really tall - something that would be impossible when shooting in portrait mode or with a regular panorama. If you’ve ever zoomed in on an image you’ve shot, you may well have noticed some small dots over the image. This is noise (or grain as it used to be known in the old days of film). Noise is caused by either the camera’s sensor or its sensitivity. All camera sensors collect light particles via tiny ‘buckets’ known as photosites, which become pixels in your final image. So, for example, if your camera has a 20-megapixel sensor, there will be 20 million photo-sites present on your camera’s sensor. It’s the size of these photosites that make a big difference to the amount of noise in your image. So, the smaller the photosite, the noisier the image gets. What this means is that the larger your camera’s sensor, the less…

Photographic Speciality/Style: Nature and landscapes. I have been trending more toward intimate views of the landscape with mysterious light, often focusing on the geologic patterns of the desert. Short Bio: I am 30 years old, and I’ve been shooting since I was 23. Surprising hyperlapse images feature the view from a SWISS-Airbus cockpit or a train-ride. In this video, we show you how to select a specific color range and make those colors come to life! The images we used were from 2 of our awesome fans, Dusan & Morey Spellman! Create a hue/saturation adjustment layer and select a specific color range from the drop down menu. Our first image has lots of green. So we brought up the saturation for color range in our image. Make sure to select all the tones with the bottom slider in the hue/saturation panel. Bonus tip! Use an iris blur effect to defocus parts of your image that are distracting.
