Maybe it’s best we squash all our drive and desire into just a few months of the year. But for those of us who just can’t be satisfied by the fall, there are many other opportunities out there. Spring turkeys and bears — with seasons coming at roughly the halfway point to your next fall adventures — are both a rocking good time. We have great bear hunting here in Saskatchewan, and every June, you can find me under a pine with an arrow nocked, waiting for a big, old boar to pass by. Surprisingly enough, I’ve never hunted turkeys. I’ve always wanted to, but just haven’t made it happen yet.
