Here’s PS4 favourite Bloodbornefinally ported to PC – but as a PS1 game, complete with wobbly, warping textures, rigid controls, and loading screens galore. Of course, Bloodborne PSXis a fangame, but one that goes beyond a jokey tech demo or prototype (which is what most people would reasonably expect from it) to offer a pretty faithful recreation of Bloodborne’s opening hours, its cobbled streets, bosses, and all.
I’ve played Bloodborne. I’ve explored every inch of the city of Yharnam, and wow does this feel uncannily like it. The opening cutscenes have been recreated, but with low-poly character models and textures that look like a patchwork quilt. The enemies are as I remember them, in mostly the same places.
