In truth, the survival elements aren’t so much the picture, as the picture frame. Starting off on a hostile Mars-like planet, there are hunger, thirst and oxygen meters to worry about; but the hunger meter goes down pretty slowly, ice to craft water bottles is very common, and oxygen is only slightly trickier to manage.
