On February 4, part-time Palm Beacher Charles Cohen will join the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County for a Culture & Cocktails event at The Colony Hotel. Cohen’s business pursuits range from commercial real estate to film production and distribution to managing high-end brands like Harrys of London. He is president and CEO of Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation and head of Cohen Media Group, which acquired the independent theater chain Landmark Theatres in late 2018. He’s also merged his business acumen with his passion for film to restore classic cinemas. Locally, he wants to bring a new multi-theater, mixed-use development to the site of the former Carefree Theatre in West Palm Beach.
