These data include prices from collector-car auctions, verified reports of private sales and input from experts. We list values for vehicles in six different states of condition as explained on this page. Values are for complete vehicles, not parts cars, except as noted. 1971 Chevelle SS

Chevelle models received changes to the front end in 1971. A new twin-level grille was divided by a bright horizontal bar. The front parking lights were moved from the bumper into the fender tips. “Don’t panic,” says a 1971 Chevrolet sales brochure. Although the muscle car era was in decline, there were still some hot options left. “There’s still an SS 454. Any car that was named the best of its kind in Car and Driver’s reader’s choice (the 1970 Chevelle SS 454) is sure to stay around.” There were changes, however.
