A well-oiled machine
For most of us who are or have been involved in the organisation of one or two-day rallies or shows, it’s a thankless task and despite meticulous planning, little things go wrong. That’s why, for the third time, I have come away from the biennial Tassie Tour, absolutely blown away with the event, not just the actual on-road side, but the faultless attention to detail that produces such an outstanding show. It starts and finishes in Ulverstone, on the north coast, handy to the ferry from Geelong that berths at Devonport, then travels anti-clockwise down the west coast to Hobart, then up the east coast before concluding with the farewell dinner in Devonport.
