‘Weights and yoga works for my body’
She’s Thor’s other half, but actress Elsa Pataky gives the muscle man a run for his money in the fitness department. The svelte stunner takes a holistic approach to long-term health, with the aim to stay strong, not skinny.
‘I don’t believe in, like quick diets that you do [just] before summer. Those miracles don’t exist,’ says the mum-of-three. ‘You have to find what your body craves and what is good for it. For a while everyone was like, “No carbs”, which I think is a big mistake.’
So what works for the Madrid-born star? ‘Mediterranean food every day, not just [for] periods of time,’ says Elsa, who avoids processed and fatty foods, sugars and alcohol.
