Even royalty has to go to school – but it’s not so daunting when you’ve got your big brother by your side!
Princess Charlotte, four, joined year 2 pupil Prince George, six, at the exclusive Thomas’s Battersea on September 5. Before classes commenced, Charlotte, George and their parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, were met at the school’s front gate by the head of the lower school, with Prince William proudly saying Charlotte was ‘very excited’ to start. Then, as she playfully flipped her ponytail, Charlotte was led off to join her reception class.
Thomas’s has 560 students aged from four to 13, with some subjects taught by Charlotte’s godmother Lucy Lanigan-O’Keeffe. Fees for both kids will set Kate and Wills back $68,000 per year.
