STIR-FRIED MEATBALLS IN OYSTER SAUCE
INGREDIENTS
• 2 tbsp oil• 500g tray ready-made meatballs• 1 onion, sliced• 300g broccoli, florets• 1 red capsicum, seeded, chopped• 1 tsp ginger, grated• 1 garlic clove, crushed• 450g Hokkien noodles• Sliced green onion, sesame seeds, to serve Sauce • 1/4 cup soy sauce• 1/4 cup shao hsing cooking wine• 2 tbsp oyster sauce METHOD
1 Heat half the oil in a wok or large frying pan on high. Stir-fry meatballs, 4-5 minutes, until well browned. Transfer to a plate. 2 Heat remaining oil in wok. Stir-fry onion and capsicum, 3-4 minutes, until tender. Add broccoli, ginger and garlic, stir-frying for 1 minute. 3 Sauce In a small jug, mix all ingredients together. 4 Return meatballs to wok with sauce.
