Citing a favourable growth outlook and low government debt, ratings agency Fitch affirmed Indonesia’s investment grade rating in late 2021. Fitch expects Asia’s sixth-largest economy to expand by 6.8% in 2022 and average 6% growth in the coming years. This rapid growth will boost Indonesia’s share of the global testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) market, which is expected to be worth more than $275bn by 2027, according to SkyQuest Technology, an international consultancy.
