I recently lost my best mate Buntsy. That name Buntsy says something of the personality of the man. Lots of laughter, a celebrator of life, an enjoyer of mischief and never a bad word about anyone. Buntsy died after a short illness in a hospital in Brazil, his adopted country. We were afforded no goodbyes as such. Distance can be mean like that. Buntsy and I met in the third form at college. Like many 17-yearolds, Grace Fordyce dreams of travelling the world and attending university. One day, she’d like to be a nurse. The Government says it will improve the process of resolving pay-equity claims, but critics say it’s an abuse of human rights. The Pay Equity Amendment Bill is one of the most controversial pieces of legislation to pass in New Zealand. Five-ingredient ice cream cake PREP + COOK TIME 55 MINUTES (+ COOLING) SERVES 6-8 300g frozen mixed berries 3 cups (750ml) ice cream, melted 1 ½ cups (225g) self-raising flour Pinch of salt 2 ½ cups (400g) icing sugar 1 Place berries in a sieve over a medium bowl.
