It’s one of the highlights of the royal calendar, giving members of the UK’s first family the chance to stop and smell the roses. Queen Camilla did just that when she and the King called into the Chelsea Flower Show.
Camilla, 77, seemed particularly keen on a distinctive pink-and-white bloom named the King’s Rose after His Majesty. Meanwhile, the King, 76, was delighted to see one of the roses worn by his good friend David Beckham, 50. The unlikely pals share a love of gardening.
Other royals at the event included Princesses Beatrice, 36, and Eugenie, Prince Edward, 61, and the King’s cousin David, Earl of Snowdon, 63. Meanwhile, the celebrity guest list featured acting royalty, including Dame Joanna Lumley, 79, and beloved foodie Mary Berry, 95.
