A glittering line-up of A-listers dazzled on the red carpet in Santa Monica to celebrate the prestigious Breakthrough Prize, otherwise known as the Oscars of Science.
The awards recognise highfliers in science, fundamental physics and mathematics, but it was Gwyneth Paltrow, 52, Zoë Saldaña, 46, Katy Perry, 40, and Kate Hudson, 45, who stole the show.
Double Oscar winner Jodie Foster, 62, made a rare appearance with her youngest “scientist” son Kit, 23, who graduated from Princeton University last year with a chemistry degree. The actor shares Kit and her older son Charlie, 26, with her ex Cydney Bernard, 72, and while Charlie is following in his famous mum’s footsteps, Jodie once said of Kit, “I can promise you he will never be an actor.”…
