I hear people being asked, “What’s your favourite song of all time?” It’s a fair question but never easy to answer. If I put that question to you, could you give me an immediate response? I’m helped by a slightly weird obsession. I keep an updated list of favourite songs I want at my funeral. I can refer to that. I admit it’s a bit dark. An initial autopsy has revealed former One Direction singer Liam Payne “had multiple substances in his system”, including pink cocaine, cocaine, benzodiazepine and crack, when he fell from the balcony of his hotel room in Argentina. An “improvised aluminium pipe” used to ingest drugs was also found. According to the National Institute of Health, pink cocaine is a recreational drug that generally includes a combination of methamphetamine (also known as P), ketamine, MDMA and opioids. The British singer died on Wednesday, October 16 when he fell from the third floor of the CasaSur hotel, after his erratic behaviour led to hotel staff calling the police for urgent assistance.
